About Sonos Arc
Sonos Arc is the premium soundbar in the Sonos range, with support for Dolby Atmos. It went on general sale in June 2020 and replaced the Playbar, the first Sonos soundbar, released in April 2013, and the Playbase of 2017. The Arc Ultra followed in October 2024, which Sonos calls its most advanced soundbar and which uses a technology named Sound Motion to produce deeper bass from a smaller cabinet.
