About Specht
Lower Bavarian brand of pickled gherkins, vegetables and sauerkraut. Develey says it took over the traditional brand from Pfarrkirchen in 1968, which widened its range to include sour preserves that go with a Bavarian cold-cuts supper. The Specht website describes delicatessen products under the slogan that the woodpecker only picks what really tastes good.
