Inter Parfums: brands it owns and its ownership tree
Inter Parfums (NASDAQ: IPAR) is a publicly listed company headquartered in New York, United States that owns 5 consumer brands and makes and sells 20 consumer brands under licence without owning the names.[1][2]
Inter Parfums has been in the prestige fragrance business since 1982 and answers the question of who is behind a designer perfume more often than the designer does. It develops, produces and distributes fragrances for about two dozen fashion, jewellery and lifestyle names, most of them under licence from the brand owner rather than owned outright, and it owns no factories: it acts as a general contractor and has third-party fillers assemble the finished goods. European brands run through Interparfums SA in Paris, a separately listed company 72 per cent owned by the New York parent, and 28 per cent of whose shares trade on Euronext. Its four largest brands in 2025 were Jimmy Choo at 17 per cent of net sales, Coach and Montblanc at 15 per cent each and GUESS at 12 per cent.
