About Lacoste Fragrances

Lacoste perfume and cosmetics have been made by Interparfums SA under an exclusive worldwide 15-year licence since it took effect in January 2024; it runs through 31 December 2038 and the crocodile itself stays with Lacoste. The first year was spent rebuilding the range: Lacoste Original, the brand's first men's line, was recreated and the L.12.12 line introduced in 2024, with Original Parfum, Original Femme and a Silver duo following in 2025. Sales passed 100 million dollars in 2025, ahead of the licensee's own estimates.

Trademark record for Lacoste Fragrances

The USPTO record for the Lacoste Fragrances mark lists LACOSTE ALLIGATOR S.A. as the owner of record (serial number 73041882). A trademark is often held by a group company rather than the listed parent, so the registrant's name can differ from the owner named above.[2]

About the owner: Inter Parfums

Inter Parfums is a publicly listed company headquartered in New York, United States, founded in 1982.

Inter Parfums has been in the prestige fragrance business since 1982 and answers the question of who is behind a designer perfume more often than the designer does. It develops, produces and distributes fragrances for about two dozen fashion, jewellery and lifestyle names, most of them under licence from the brand owner rather than owned outright, and it owns no factories: it acts as a general contractor and has third-party fillers assemble the finished goods. European brands run through Interparfums SA in Paris, a separately listed company 72 per cent owned by the New York parent, and 28 per cent of whose shares trade on Euronext. Its four largest brands in 2025 were Jimmy Choo at 17 per cent of net sales, Coach and Montblanc at 15 per cent each and GUESS at 12 per cent.
