About Car Shoe
Car Shoe invented the driving moccasin in 1963, a soft shoe with rubber studs on the sole and heel designed for pedal feel. Prada acquired the brand in 2001 and it remains a small, specialised part of the group. The studs wrap around the heel because a driver's foot pivots on it, which is what distinguishes the design from an ordinary loafer.
