About Danusia
Danusia is a Wawel chocolate whose recipe, the company says, has been unchanged for almost a hundred years. Its history credits Adam Piasecki, the confectioner whose Kraków business Wawel traces itself to, with devising it in the 1920s and naming it after an employee he was taken with. It has a chocolate and nut filling in thin, crumbly chocolate, and now also comes in coconut and in a raspberry version called Danusia Beauty.
