About Eitt Sett
Eitt Sett — "one set" — packages together a piece of chocolate and a strip of liquorice, formalising a habit Icelandic children had already invented of eating the two at once. Nói Síríus says the local liquorice is softer and sweeter than most, which is what makes the pairing work. Like Nóa Kropp it came out of the product development the company undertook after import tariffs on foreign sweets were abolished in 1981.
