About Tópas
Tópas is the liquorice tablet Nói Síríus began making in the decade after 1945 and has sold ever since, in eucalyptus and Icelandic sea salt versions. In 1996 the company was nominated for a food industry award for reformulating it with xylitol — the first sweet manufactured in Iceland to contain it — while trying to keep the taste of what it calls the good old green Tópas.
