About Hardware Haus
Hardware Haus is one of Papua New Guinea's largest hardware retailers, with more than ten outlets selling cement, bricks, pre-fabricated homes, power tools, chainsaws, plumbing and solar equipment, workwear and garden goods to homeowners and contractors alike. CPL Group bought the chain from Steamships Trading Company, the same conglomerate it had bought the Stop & Shop supermarkets from four years earlier, and it is now one of the two trading businesses the group kept when it left grocery in 2025.
