About Hinano
Hinano is the beer of Tahiti, launched in 1955 during the Tiurai celebrations and brewed today in the Punaruu valley, at what its maker calls the most modern production site in the South Pacific. It is a bottom-fermented premium lager of 5% alcohol, golden and noticeably bitter, sold in 33cl and 50cl bottles and cans and on draught. It won gold at the World Beer Selection in Luxembourg in 1990 and in Brussels in 1993, and its vahine emblem has become a stand-in for the islands themselves.
