About IMAX Enhanced
IMAX Enhanced is the name IMAX uses outside cinemas, for films and live events streamed at home. It covers three things: real-time picture enhancement for live sport and concerts, remastered versions of films on services such as Disney+, Sony Pictures Core and Tencent Video, and a certification for televisions and other devices from makers including Sony, Hisense, TCL, LG and Philips. The company folded its StreamSmart and StreamAware streaming products into the programme when it relaunched it in late 2025.
