About Mistral
Mistral is a pisco, the grape spirit distilled in the northern valleys of Chile, and the leading brand of Compañía Pisquera de Chile, the venture CCU formed in March 2005 with the pisco growers' co-operative Control. CCU owns 80% of that company and Control the remaining 20%. The name also carries extensions including Mistral Ice.
