About Palermo
Palermo came to CCU in April 2008 with the purchase of the Argentine brewer Inversora Cervecera for 88 million dollars, a deal that also brought the Imperial and Bieckert names and a brewery at Luján in Buenos Aires province with capacity for 270 million litres a year. The three brands together held about 5.8% of the Argentine beer market at the time.
