About Austral
Austral is brewed in Punta Arenas at the southern tip of Chile and is the oldest of the craft names CCU markets and distributes nationally. CCU has been a joint owner of Cervecería Austral since November 2000, holding half the company alongside Malterías Unidas, and separately holds a renewable licence to brew Austral Lager in kegs and returnable litre bottles.
