Mitsukoshi is a Japanese department store name that traces its business to Echigoya, the kimono shop Mitsui Takatoshi opened in 1673, which sold for cash at fixed marked prices. Its main stores are the Nihombashi main store and the Ginza store in Tokyo, and regional Mitsukoshi stores run in Sendai, Sapporo, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Matsuyama and Fukuoka. In Manila, MITSUKOSHI BGC opened in 2023 through a 60% subsidiary. Mitsukoshi merged with Isetan in April 2011 to form Isetan Mitsukoshi Ltd.
