About Norvegia
Norvegia is TINE's everyday yellow cheese. TINE traces it to 1859, when Nittedal dairy began making a Norwegian Gouda that later took the Norvegia name, and says it has been naturally lactose-free for more than a hundred years. It is now sold across Sweden, where TINE's subsidiary Wernersson Ost sold SEK 100 million of cheese made from Norwegian milk in 2025, about half of it Norvegia.
