About Tolak Angin
Tolak Angin is a liquid herbal remedy for masuk angin, the Indonesian name for a cluster of chills, bloating, nausea and tiredness. Rakhmat Sulistio began formulating it in 1930 and it went on sale as a hot herbal drink in 1940. Today it comes in 15 ml sachets blending twelve herbs, among them ginger, mint, fennel and ules wood, with honey, plus children's, flu and sugar-free versions, soft capsules and sweets.
