About Vauxhall

Vauxhall sells in Britain the same cars Opel sells across the rest of Europe, a twin-brand arrangement that has survived since General Motors bought both in the 1920s. Stellantis acquired the pair from GM in 2017. Stellantis owns it, and its Luton plant, opened in 1905, is one of the oldest continuously operating vehicle factories in Britain.
