About Winston
Winston is one of JT International's four global flagship brands, sold in over 130 markets outside the United States. JT acquired the international rights, together with Camel and Salem, in its May 1999 purchase of RJR Nabisco's international tobacco business. The US rights to Winston did not stay with Reynolds: they were later divested to Imperial Brands, so the American Winston sold today has a different owner from the international one.
