About Bulmers
Bulmers is an Irish cider that C&C says was founded in 1935 and grew from a small cidery in Clonmel, County Tipperary, where it is still made from 17 varieties of Irish-grown apples, including fruit from 150 acres of C&C's own orchards. C&C sells the name only in Ireland; the same cider is exported as Magners because the Bulmers name, which dates from William Magner's partnership with H.P. Bulmer of Hereford, could not be used abroad. Bulmers volumes grew 2 per cent in C&C's 2026 financial year.
