About Tennent's
Tennent's Lager has been brewed at the Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow since 1885, when Hugh Tennent set out to make a Scottish lager to rival the beers he had tasted in Bavaria. C&C calls it Scotland's favourite lager, made with water from Loch Katrine and Scottish malted barley and sold in more than 60 countries. In C&C's 2026 financial year it grew share of Scotland's On-Trade lager market and launched Tennent's Bavarian Pilsner, the brand's first new product in several years.
