About Cylinda
Cylinda is a Swedish appliance brand. It grew out of a washing machine Karl-Erik Andersson built in 1950 in Jung, Västergötland, and the Cylinda name was picked in a naming contest in 1958. Vestel announced its full acquisition of Cylinda AB in October 2024 and owns it through Vestel Holland B.V. The company is based in Kista and does its product development in Sweden.
