About Noy
Noy is the brandy of the Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory, which stands in the Hrazdan gorge in Yerevan and was founded in 1877 by Nerses Tairyan, a first-guild merchant. It was bought in 1899 by N.L. Shustov and Sons, then one of the leading Russian alcohol producers, nationalised in 1920 and renamed the following May, and served as the parent enterprise for brandy and wine production across Soviet Armenia. It fell into disrepair after 1991 and was revived in 2002 when it entered Multi Group under Gagik Tsarukyan; it produces brandy and wine and has been expanding its international sales since.
