Oliver Peoples was founded in 1987 on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and came to Luxottica in 2007 with the acquisition of Oakley. It focuses on premium eyewear, much of it made in Japan, and has never relied on a logo. In 2025 it partnered with Roger Federer and the artist Alex Israel, supporting the rebuilding of Los Angeles after that year's wildfires.
