About Solid Gear Footwear
Solid Gear Footwear was founded in 2008 by Johan Hult and Andreas Westling on the idea that a safety shoe need not be a heavy boot, and it borrows openly from athletic footwear: Gore-Tex membranes, Vibram soles and the Boa dial fit system. It joined Hultafors Group in 2014 and has grown quickly since on the back of the group's distribution.
