About Tatra
Tatra is the brand that Mlékárna Hlinsko has sold its dairy products under since 1964. The dairy itself was founded in 1939 and began production in 1943, making powdered and condensed milk, butter and dried buttermilk from two million litres of raw milk in its first year; it now handles close to 200 million litres a year and exports to more than 25 countries. The brand has been extended into Tatra Zmrzka ice cream and Tatra Professional, a range for professional kitchens.
