About Carnex
Carnex was founded in Vrbas in 1958 and is now, under MK Group, the largest pig producer in Serbia and one of the country's leading meat processors, vertically integrated with its own farms and animal-feed plants supplying more than 2,000 employees' production lines. Its range runs to more than 150 meat products across five categories — cured and semi-cured meats, pâtés, ready meals, canned meat and fresh meat — including smoked products, fermented dry sausages, boiled sausages and canned meat in aluminium foil and tins, plus a pâté line sold in chicken, spicy chicken and turkey variants. MK Group took control of Carnex in 2011.
