About Drizly
Drizly delivered alcohol from local shops and was acquired by Uber in 2021 for about $1.1 billion. Uber shut it down in 2024 and folded alcohol delivery into Uber Eats, three years after buying it. The closure followed a Federal Trade Commission order over a data breach that exposed the details of about two and a half million customers, which named its chief executive personally.
How often Uber names Drizly in its annual report
A plain count of the times the name appears in the text of each annual report, not counting the start of a sentence. A brand that an owner writes about more is usually one it treats as central. The brand is named less often than it was three years earlier.
