About FRoSTA
FRoSTA is the frozen-food brand of FRoSTA AG of Bremerhaven. The name was registered as a trademark in 1963, but a trademark dispute kept the logo off German packs until 1976, when the company launched FRoSTA fish fingers at home. Since 2003 the brand has followed its "Reinheitsgebot", leaving out added colourings, flavourings, flavour enhancers, stabilisers and emulsifiers; FRoSTA's sales fell 40% in the first year. It is sold in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and other European countries, and its sales grew 15.7% in 2025.
