About Herradura
Herradura is a Jalisco tequila house founded in 1870 whose name means horseshoe, after one found on the land where the agave grew. It was the first producer to make a reposado, in 1974, and it ferments with wild yeast rather than commercial strains. Brown-Forman acquired it in 2007.
