About KEO Beer
KEO Beer is a pilsner-style lager first brewed in Limassol on 17 May 1951, when the brewery could make about 300,000 gallons a year; it can now produce more than 30,000 hectolitres a month. It won a gold medal at the World Bottled Lager Competition at Burton upon Trent in 1987, and the company marked the beer's seventieth anniversary in 2021. It is the drink most closely identified with Cyprus, at home and in its export markets.
