About Los Colonos
Los Colonos is the dairy brand of Colonias Unidas, made from milk collected from member farms in Itapúa. The co-operative's dairy unit processed about 44.6 million litres in the 2025 financial year, and its product mix spans commercial UHT milk, UHT milk for the school feeding programme, sachet milk, pasteurised milk, cheeses, cream and dulce de leche. Its 2025 annual report shows two additions to the range that year: Greek yogurt, and a jelly sold in three flavours — lemon, strawberry and blueberry. The same report records a national shortage of raw milk during 2025 constraining what the industry could take in.
