About Ponte 16
Ponte 16 is a hotel and commercial complex on the Inner Harbour waterfront in Macau, held through Ponte 16 Resorts, in which SJM is the majority shareholder with a 51 per cent interest. Its hotel trades as Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 under the French group Accor's name rather than SJM's, and averaged 86.5 per cent occupancy at an average daily rate of HK$1,030 in 2025. The casino that operated there was one of the eight satellite venues shut during the year.
