About Genting Grand
Genting Grand is the 18-storey hotel that opened at the hilltop resort in 1981 as simply the Genting Hotel, and was the flagship there before the resort grew to seven hotels around it. The name changed to Genting Grand as the group standardised its hotel brands. Genting Berhad reaches it through Genting Malaysia, a 73.8 per cent subsidiary, rather than owning it directly.
