About Resorts World Genting
Resorts World Genting sits 6,000 feet up in the Titiwangsa mountains and is the resort the whole group grew out of: its first hotel opened on the site in 1971, and the destination was renamed from Genting Highlands Resort in 2009. It now has about 10,500 rooms across seven hotels, along with gaming, theme parks, dining, retail, international shows and convention facilities. Genting Berhad holds it through Genting Malaysia, which it owned 73.8 per cent of at 18 March 2026.
