About Bergens Tidende
Bergens Tidende is Norway's fourth largest newspaper and the largest published outside Oslo, covering Bergen and the west of the country. The printer Johan Wilhelm Eide published its first regular issue on 2 January 1868. Its newsroom sits in Media City Bergen, and the test it sets its own journalism is that it must always be independent, credible, trustworthy and fact-based rather than merely first.
