About Crnogorski Krstač
Crnogorski Krstač is made from Krstač, a white grape variety indigenous to the Podgorica subregion and grown there since ancient times. The grapes are hand-picked in mid-to-late August, fermented with selected dry yeasts in stainless steel, then aged eight to ten months on fine lees in steel tanks rather than oak, which Plantaže uses to keep the wine light and fresh. The result is a pale, greenish-yellow dry white with aromas of ripe peach and pear, a light body, mineral notes and a crisp, mineral-tinged finish, positioned as an aperitif or a match for seafood and white meat.
