About Premijer
Premijer is Plantaže's flagship red, a selected blend of the winery's finest Vranac reserves rather than a single-vintage release from one parcel. It undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, then ages four years in wood and a further three years in bottle before sale. The finished wine is a deep purple-red with a bouquet of dark forest berries, liquorice and dark chocolate, a full body carrying jammy blueberry, blackberry and dried-plum flavours, and an exceptionally long finish, sold as the top of Plantaže's red-wine range.
