About Funck-Bricher
Funck-Bricher began as a brewery in the Grund, the low town of Luxembourg City, in 1764; it won medals at international competitions, was appointed Supplier to the Court in 1916, and was said in 1937 to be the most modern brewery in the country. The name vanished in 1975 in the merger that created Brasserie Nationale and stayed gone until 2018, when it returned on a single product: a bottom-fermented organic blonde, vegan and very low in gluten, brewed with Centennial and Saaz hops and water drawn from 320 metres down.
