Poa is a detergent powder brand made by Royal Soap and Detergent Industries Ltd, METL Group's detergent manufacturing subsidiary in the Mabibo Industrial Area of Dar es Salaam, which has produced synthetic detergent powders since 2013. It is one of five in-house powder brands the subsidiary lists on its own site, alongside Taifa, Protector, Boom and Mo Halisi, manufactured in high, medium and low-density formulations.
