About Primus
Primus was the first beer brewed in Rwanda and is the brand BRALIRWA was built around. The company positions it as the beer for authentic, everyday occasions rather than premium ones, and in 2025 it sponsored Iwacu Muzika, a music festival that took performers to seven cities and was aimed squarely at audiences outside Kigali. BRALIRWA has also been the primary sponsor of the national football league since 2021.
