Royal Albert was established in 1896 and draws almost everything from an idea of England: the rose above all, and the colourful country garden around it. Old Country Roses, launched in 1962 with burgundy, pink and yellow roses and gold banding, is so closely identified with the brand that the two are used interchangeably. Fiskars acquired it with the WWRD group on 2 July 2015.
