About Waterford
Waterford makes Irish crystal known for the depth of its cutting, and sells on weight, the way the glass handles light and the note it sounds when struck. Its Lismore pattern, created in 1952 by chief designer Miroslav Havel, took its diamond and wedge cuts from Lismore Castle in County Waterford and now runs across glassware, barware and homeware. Fiskars acquired it with the WWRD group on 2 July 2015 and still operates the House of Waterford manufacturing site in Ireland.
