About Season
Season is a premium canned sardine brand sold in the United States, which Mutandis's 2020 reference document says was created in 1921. Mutandis signed to buy 100% of Season Brand LLC, of New Jersey, from RAB Food Group on 2 June 2021 and closed the deal at the end of July for MAD 403 million. Season does not make its own tins; it buys them, mostly from Morocco. It sells through Walmart and Costco, entered Sam's Club in 2025, and had US sales of MAD 629 million that year.
