About Serengeti
Serengeti is brewed entirely from malt and is, by its maker's account, Tanzanians' favourite beer, with a sponsorship of the national football team, the Taifa Stars, behind it. East African Breweries took a controlling 51 per cent of Serengeti Breweries in 2010 and bought a further 34 per cent in 2020, leaving it with 85 per cent of the brewer.
