About Wemo
Wemo was Belkin's smart home line — plugs, light switches, bulbs, motion sensors and small appliances controlled from a phone — and it is being wound down. Belkin's own support notice says it discontinued Wemo cloud services and app support with effect from 31 January 2026, after which the app, remote access and the Alexa and Google Assistant integrations stop working for the affected products. Devices already paired with Apple HomeKit before that date keep working through the Apple Home app, but no new device can be added to HomeKit afterwards.
