Caribbean Cool is the drink S.M. Jaleel created in 1986 to enter the United Kingdom, built on combinations of rich, exotic and tropical flavours and sold to a market with a large Caribbean diaspora; the company incorporated SMJ Beverages UK Limited in 1992 to distribute it and its other brands there. A PET version followed in 2007, and the brand shares the hot-fill PET line the company runs for Fruta, which uses specially designed 250ml and 500ml heat-set bottles.
