About Fruta
Fruta is the juice drink range S.M. Jaleel launched in cans in 1983 and has since extended into PET in 2007, Tetra Pak cartons in 2008 and one-litre packs in 2009. The company says it remains among the three most popular juice brands in the English-speaking Caribbean. It is made on a hot-fill PET line the company built in 2007 — the first in the Caribbean — using a heat-set resin bottle that can be filled at up to 93 degrees Celsius.
