CLINICA is Lion's preventive dentistry brand, launched in 1981 as CLINICA Lion, a toothpaste containing enzymes that break down the dental plaque that causes cavities. Lion renewed the brand in 2014 around a preventive dentistry perspective, and CLINICA PRO toothpaste sells strongly in Japan.
