Movado Group designs, sources and distributes watches, and to a lesser extent jewellery, under five brands it owns and five it holds under licence. It was incorporated in New York in 1967 as North American Watch Corporation to import Piaget and Corum watches, bought Concord in 1970 and the Movado brand in 1983, and took its present name in 1996.
